66th Bank Day of State Bank of India was celebrated on 1 July 2021 by SBI,
Main Branch, Shimla and SMEC, Shimla under the able leadership of Pawan Kumar, DGM, Zonal Office, Shimla.
Realising the need of environment protection, the event was marked by planting 200 trees of Deodar and Chinar in Mashobra area of Shimla by employees of SBI under the slogan ‘Go Green Save Green’.
Occasion was graced by eminent people of the town. The area under plantation will be maintained by the bank for five years .
Devender Singh Negi, AGM, SBI Main Branch Shimla and Anil Kumar, AGM, SMEC, Shimla along with officials from forest deptt were present among others.
